Giving Tuesday was founded in 2012 with the goal to encourage people to do good by giving their time and donations to organizations and people in their communities. Since then, it has bloomed into a global movement. This year, Giving Tuesday takes place on December 1st, 2020. Did you just whisper “How is it already December?!” We did too. All we can say is time flies and your chance to give back is coming up fast. Angel Guardians has BIG plans this year and we need your help to achieve our goal.
How can you help Angel Guardians Inc.?
First, we need to thank you for helping us through 2020. It’s been a year of struggles and we are coming back stronger than ever. So, thank you!
Angel Guardians provides many resources to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and their families year-round, but we don’t want to stop there.
We have set a goal of raising $12,000 during Giving Tuesday.
Your donations will help us renovate our building space into a community resource center. In this new division, individuals with and without disabilities will be able to receive assistance through a food pantry, resource library and open meeting space.
It’s an ambitious goal, but we have faith in our community and know that together we can crush our goals and be a force of good for those we love.
How else can you give back during Giving Tuesday?

According to givingtuesday.org, there are 225 communities organizing efforts within the United States, and the Omaha metro is no exception. Connect with local organizations on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook with the hashtag #GivingTuesday402.
Remember, December 1st, 2020 is not just a fundraising day. As GivingTuesday.org says, “It’s a manifestation of giving but only one of an infinite number of possibilities.”
You can find other organizations that can use your help by searching these hashtags on any social media outlet.
